Dr. Naeem Bhojani

Dr. Naeem Bhojani is an internationally recognized endourologist, Full Professor of Urology at the Université de Montréal, and clinical researcher at the CHUM Research Centre. After completing his urology residency at the Université de Montréal, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Endourology and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia at Indiana University under the mentorship of world-renowned endourologist Dr. James Lingeman.
Recognized as the Best Endourologist in the World in 2025, Dr. Bhojani is a Canadian pioneer in Minimally Invasive Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (MiLEP) and one of the few surgeons in Canada with expertise in ejaculation-sparing laser prostate enucleation, an advanced technique that allows carefully selected patients to preserve sexual function while achieving durable relief of urinary symptoms.
His practice is dedicated to the comprehensive management of:
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia
- MiLEP and Ejaculation-preserving laser prostate surgery
- Complex kidney stone disease
- Kidney stone prevention
Dr. Bhojani founded one of Canada’s first multidisciplinary kidney stone programs, integrating urologists, nephrologists, and nutrition specialists to provide comprehensive care. He combines state-of-the-art laser and endoscopic technologies with evidence-based medicine to deliver safer surgery, faster recovery, and durable long-term outcomes. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bhojani is an internationally recognized researcher, educator, and speaker with more than 300 peer-reviewed publications. He has led numerous clinical trials evaluating innovative technologies for kidney stone disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia and has contributed to the development of new surgical techniques and devices.
Dr. Bhojani has trained hundreds of urologists worldwide in advanced laser surgery and is frequently invited to perform live surgery and deliver keynote lectures at leading international meetings.
